great views but location needs improvement

The city view from my room was stunning, making mornings quite enchanting. The housekeeping maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay, ensuring that everything felt welcoming. The breakfast options were satisfying, featuring a variety of items that catered well to different tastes.

The hotel's location is somewhat misleading, as it is not as central as the name suggests.

The Ibis hotel offers a well-equipped business center, a snack bar/deli, and a lively lounge area. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured excellent housekeeping daily. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options. The hotel is conveniently located near Perrache station, making transportation easy and access to many tourist attractions straightforward.

Parking was a bit limited due to high demand.

The room was spacious and clean, but the layout was a bit odd with an unblocked window that felt awkward. The nearby Brasserie Georges was an excellent find for dinner.

It was just a nice choice for a mini-break over the weekend in Lyon with all in all brilliant value for money. The large modern interior was surprisingly clean and functional, making my stay very comfortable. Make use of the transport links nearby to explore more of the city.

i thought i was getting a clean room, but one of the bed sheets was dirty. instead of a gracious room change, the reception staff had complaints about us. shocking! also, if there had been a safe, i woudl ve been able to keep my watch secure. now, it’s gone. absolutely terrible service!

The room was cozy, but finding utensils took way too long.

ibis was a great choice for our family. the location is super convenient, only a short walk from the train station. the staff were friendly and spoke good english, making our stay even better. we really enjoyed the plentiful breakfast options, which catered well to everyone.

Charming Stay with a Historic Feel

My stay was delightful, especially because the hotel is housed in an old building that still retains its unique architectural details, making every trip up the lovely staircase a treat. The staff at the check-in were exceptionally kind, and thanks to their helpfulness, settling in was a breeze. The quirky Perrache neighborhood is an adventure. navigating the stairs and escalators initially felt chaotic, but it soon turned into part of the fun. However, I wish there had been a bit more dining options nearby.

Staying here with my kids was smooth since it was close to the metro for our sightseeing. The room was practical for our family, and it was handy having a luggage room after checkout.

My wife says that the breakfast options could be better for kids.
